Firework, fan, miracle is composed as a transition filtered through an electric fan between two found video sequences: a single firework exploding in the night sky and a void in an image caused by an over saturation of light while pointing a camera directly at the sun. Presented as a continuous loop in a blacked-out space, the sequence takes on a permanent form as the table fan simultaneously acts as both a filter and container for the formation and destruction of an image.
